About us

About us

Q-Space: we are developing queer culture, organizing educational events, supporting community.

We are regularly organizing festivals, film events, discussions, training and other events in Tallinn, Narva and Tartu on LGBTQ+ issues.

We seek to create spaces based on mutual respect. Where people can feel safe and have the freedom to express who they are without judgment, bias, or discrimination. It is important to us that lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, queer, asexual, and intersex people feel free and can be themselves in all places.

We work with all age groups, paying great attention to young people - at our events and in our volunteer team, the majority of people are between the ages of 16 and 30.

We work in three languages: Estonian, Russian and English.

Admission is free for all refugees.

We are open to all cooperation. We welcome you if you want to join our volunteer team. And we are very grateful for donations: they help us organize more events and invite interesting guests.

Together, we can achieve equality for the LGBTQ+ community in Estonia!

Help bring change and join our work!

Our goals

Openness

Create inviting cultural spaces in Estonia for debates related to the LGBTQ+ community.

Visibility

By organising wide public events and media campaigns, we show we are here and exist!

Language Accessibility

Since we work in Estonian, Russian, and English-- we build bridges between different language and cultural groups, contributing to a better integration of Russian-speaking Estonians in society.

Challenging Stereotypes

We promote an accurate self-representation of LGBTQ+ members in society, advocating needs and equal rights.

Our mission

Our mission is to achieve gender equality and the safety of the queer community, which is ensured by both laws and acceptance in all areas of life.
