Master class Queerness in Movement

Q-Space invites you to a master class, Queerness in Movement, which will take place in Club Hungr (Tulika 9-11, Tallinn) on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This workshop can be attended by anyone, regardless of identity, dance ability, age, or other characteristics. The main thing is the desire for liberation from the constraints of the body and the prejudices of the mind. At the workshop Queerness in movement we will dive into the interconnections between movement, body and sexuality, and discover the queerness in all of us. We will learn how to find, own and celebrate our own individualities through movement exercises from the worlds of both contemporary dance and ballroom vogue.

‍Leading the master class is Rene Köster, a choreographer, dancer, queer activist and creator of the performance Transcendentia, which is successfully running at the Independent Dance Stage (STL) in Tallinn, during this current theater season.

The workshop will be held in English. The participation is free of charge.
