Inga Sukhorukova, 2019, 11 min.
Tolya called his father all of a sudden, on Wednesday, and said that they need to meet. His father is guessing, why today? So many years have passed since they parted after a big scandal.
3. Grandma, meet Mary!
Kaire Russ, 2021, 19 min.
Comedy drama about a grandmother's jubilee celebration, where middle-aged perfectionist Virve comes into conflict with her niece Silvia, who brings her same-sex partner to the traditional family party.
4. Shall we talk?
Katya Mikheeva, 2020, 5 min.
Documentary story of Polina, who decides to tell her parents about her bisexuality.
5. The Year of the White Moon
Maxim Pechersky, 2020, 21 min.
Film containing recordings of phone conversations between a mother and her son. A tragicomedy about a dialogue between two people who are close but who just can't really hear each other.

Opening, shorts “We are Family” and Q&A with directors
Kaire Russ is director, script writer and a fight choreographer.
She studied film in Madrid and physical and collaborative acting in Sweden. Kaire moved back to Estonia in 2018.
Her best known works are short film “Grandma, meet Mary”, whole family TV series “Homme põgeneme” (ETV2) and TV series “Naised vormis” (Kanal 2).

"I am a film director, script writer, storyteller, artist and ballet dancer. Due to the political situation in the Russian Federation, my new projects cannot be implemented on the territory of my country. So now I am sailing with the philosophical ship from Russia and starting my international film path."
Inga Sukhorukova, director of the film Soup
Born and raised into mixed Russian-Volga Tatar family in PERM, Russia. In 2015 finished scriptwriter at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography n.a. S.Gerasimov (Workshop of Yuri Arabov). In 2019 she also finished Art Filmmaking course. Now she works as an journalist, screenwriter, independent filmmaker, and LGBTQ+ activist.
Moderator Maria Kapajeva
Maria Kapajeva is an Estonian artist, born and grown up in Narva, who works between Estonia and London. Her award-winning book “Dream is Wonderful, Yet Unclear” (Milda Books, 2020) focused on Narva community of former workers of Kreenholm.
