November 17, Narva: Training "Everything You Wanted to Know About LGBTQ+ but Were Afraid to Ask"
On November 17 (Sunday) from 12.00 to 16.00, we will explore concepts related to sexual orientation and gender identity. We will discuss approaches to gender and sexual diversity from an ethical perspective. We will address the meaning of (non)binary, correct ways to speak about transgender subjects and answer participants' questions about LGBTQ+ topics.
The training aims to raise awareness of topics related to the LGBTQ+ community among the people whose professions have a wide social outreach such as journalists, educators, and NGO workers, and anyone else interested, and to create a space for discussion, inquiry, and understanding that promotes diversity, alleviates tension, and supports mutual understanding in society.
The working language will be Russian. There will be a coffee break.
